GTB Introduces New Suite of Data Security Services

OWINGS MILLS, MD - GTB announced today the introduction of CyberSeal, a new suite of services, which focuses on data security by protecting companies from cyber attacks, malware, viruses and lost data. “Cyber attacks and data breaches are on the rise across the globe,” states GTB’s CEO, Dror Mei-Tal.  “We are interested in protecting small to midsize companies who are presently more exposed to these problems due to their lack of resources, limited technology background and not being aware of the risk to the livelihood of their business.”  GTB’s CyberSeal service eliminates the need for businesses to spend large sums of money on hardware and software services and is fully managed by GTB engineers.

The CyberSeal program offers GTB customers several services to choose from, all of which can be standalone or bundled together with other security services. To protect against cyber attacks, GTB will install and manage a SonicWall Firewall.  This service includes a wired and wireless firewall hardware option with accompanying software to perform:

  • Deep Packet Inspection
  • Bi-Directional Inspection
  • Intrusion Prevention
  • Automatic Signature Updates
  • Around-the-Clock Security Updates
  • Content Filtering
  • Malware and Virus Email Reports
  • Ability to Add Cloud Inspection Service

In addition, individual desktops can be set up with the ESET Anti-Virus and Anti-Malware Software to protect against email and Internet related threats.  Data protection through GTB’s StrongBox Cloud-Based Computer Remote Data Backup service completes a company’s need for a full security solution.

Read article, FCC warns consumers about new 'Yes' phone scam by clicking here.

By ENJOLI FRANCIS, ABC News.  Posted March 27, 2017.

"The FCC also shared the following tips:

1. Don't answer calls from unknown numbers. Let them go to voicemail.

2. If you answer and the caller (often a recording) asks you to hit a button to stop receiving calls, just hang up. Scammers often use these tricks to identify, and then target, live respondents.

3. If you receive a scam call, write down the number and file a complaint with the FCC so we can help identify and take appropriate action to help consumers targeted by illegal callers.

4. Ask your phone service provider if it offers a robocall blocking service. If not, encourage your provider to offer one. You can also visit the FCC's website for information and resources on available robocall blocking tools to help reduce unwanted calls. Consider registering all of your telephone numbers in the National Do Not Call Registry."
