GTB Team

Today, we focus on how GTB is serving the Healthcare/Medical industry with a case study on one of our loyal customers, Maryland Vascular Specialists!

Background

With offices in Maryland and Pennsylvania, Maryland Vascular Specialists is a leader in outpatient vascular care and is dedicated exclusively to the care of artery and vein disorders related to the circulatory system. Publicly recognized for its minimally-invasive vascular procedures, they provide personalized outpatient and surgical care, and expert management of all vascular conditions, such as aortic aneurysms, peripheral arterial disease (PAD), diabetic foot ulcers, venous disease, carotid artery disease and stroke prevention, limb salvage, and more. They strive to consistently deliver their best to every patient, every day, during every interaction.

Service Needs

When GTB first introduced themselves to Maryland Vascular Specialists, they needed to make a change with their telecom provider. Although the relationship with the provider had been a good one, they were relying heavily on an outdated premise-based PBX phone system.  At the time, their objective was to find the same type of service they’d become accustomed to with the former provider, while also obtaining more modern technology. Specifically, they needed a local company to upgrade their phone equipment, find a better way to funnel calls between their 15 locations, and improve the user interface for their phones. When GTB provided Maryland Vascular Specialists with their free assessment, they realized they could address these needs and customize a package that also allowed Maryland Vascular Specialists to share call paths and long distance among their multiple locations.

The Solution

After a year of vetting various providers, Maryland Vascular Specialists signed on with GTB in the spring of 2018. GTB now provides Maryland Vascular Specialists with an unmanaged, Hosted PBX SolutionFlex•Point™, with the latest in HD-audio phone equipment to include Mitel desktop, Panasonic cordless and Polycom conference phones and features, including Auto Attendant and Music on Hold, as well as, a customized local and long distance calling plan. As with all GTB customers, Maryland Vascular Specialists’ staff was personally trained at their locations on how to use and manage the phones and system features to enhance productivity. After being with GTB for just months, Maryland Vascular Specialists has already added a new office, expanding their business with the support of GTB’s solutions and continued personalized customer service. Read more case studies.
