How to take advantage of top features
- HD Voice and Video Conferencing. Up to 100 live video panelists can share their webcam and interact with the audience with digital quality voice and video. To make the most of the HD-audio quality, find a quiet place to hold meetings, ask participants to mute their lines while not talking (or auto-mute participant lines for larger groups), put any phones that may be near you on silent, and turn off all applications that send audio notifications. For the video portion, ensure your background is what you want your colleagues and customers to see, and that you have enough high quality wi-fi bandwidth available at your location to stream the video clearly.
- Screen and Application Sharing. One-click HD screen sharing with the ability to share video and audio clips with ease. With this feature, you can, as a presenter, limit the functionality to yourself or open it up to the group.
- Breakout Rooms. Allows you to split your meeting up to 50 separate sessions with a maximum of 500 participants in a session. This feature is intended to allow the presenter to facilitate small group interaction. To make the most out of it, prepare ahead of time how you will separate the groups. As the presenter, you also have the ability to join and broadcast messages to the groups for instructions or timing announcements while they’re in session.
- Chat. Private and group panelist chat (can be enabled for attendees too). The chat feature can be turned on or off in your settings – depending on how much interaction you need in your meeting and how large the group is. While in the meeting, you can also control whether chat messages go to the group or just to the presenter.
- Polling. Receive immediate feedback from attendees and share audience input. Polls can be created ahead of time or in real time during a meeting.
- Remote Desktop Control. Request or give desktop control to support and troubleshoot issues on remote systems or collaborate live with your team on documents. This feature is particularly helpful for people who need or provide customer care or technical support.
- Recording. Record locally in MP4 or MP4A format, and promote to additional audiences. This feature is very useful when people are unable to attend meetings, but need access to the content of the meeting. It can also be used to record presentations for business development, education, and outreach.
- Reporting. Get reports on registrants, attendees, polling, performance, and Q&A for follow up. This function allows presenters to communicate to upper management or clients about participant engagement, and contributes to tracking and metrics.
